Prior to entering the legal world, I served various roles for about 20 years in the
media & entertainment industry, including as director, producer,
and CEO of a production company. I produced or directed more
than 50 TV shows, dramas, sitcoms, music shows, talk shows,
and other variety programs. Some of those TV shows achieved
record-breaking ratings of over 40%.
Since becoming a lawyer, I have worked as a business and
production legal counsel with global media & entertainment
companies such as Netflix, iQIYI, Paramount Pictures,
Skydance, in addition to leading Korean companies such as
JTBC Studio, CJ ENM, Coupang Play and Studio N. I have
worked on international projects such as Netflix’s Kingdom, Sweet Home, and Squid Game, contributing to their success in global markets.
I am confident that these experiences are unmatched in
Korea’s legal industry. Based on these experiences, yh&co,
Korea’s most innovative law firm in the media and
entertainment market, can provide services that are not only
unparalleled in insight, but also creative and original, as our
